You turned three months old last week! This week I took you to get your last immunizations from your two month appointment, since I only two two injections at a time. I asked the nurse to weigh you and you were only 12.1 pounds! My little peanut. At least compared to your brothers. That's okay though, be your own person. You may just end up being tall and skinny.
This month you have started grabbing things intentionally and your play mat is one of your favorite toys. However, you do like your exersaucer as well.
The slobbering and drooling has continued and you try and stick as any of your little fingers in your mouth at the same time as you can.
You have continued to nurse well, though you do not like the cover. So we only use it when we have to. Which is only when we are in the main part of the house around the teenagers.
This month we got to go to Okoboji! It was your first trip to the lake. I tried putting your feet in the water and sitting you on the sand, but you didn't really care. There was no emotion in your face at all. I'm sure next year will be completely different! You did a lot of sleeping in the stroller on the beach. We did take you on a boat ride though. You slept the entire time. And my mom brain kicked in and the entire time I kept imagining the worse. What would happen and how would I save you if something happened and we went in the water? They don't have life jackets for tiny 10 pound babies! Tucker was with us and wearing his life jacket so I wasn't as working about him, but you! My brain was working overtime and I had to keep telling myself to chill out.
Brighton, you are so smiley all the time! You smile at strangers, at the guys, and especially your brothers. You are the happiest baby ever. Although for my birthday, Daddy and I went out to dinner (with you of course) and for the first time ever, you cried, pouty face and all, at a stranger who tried to talk to you! You are also starting to laugh and become ticklish and it is so adorable. I can't wait to hear your full belly giggle soon.
We went cherry picking and we had so much fun!
Can't tell by the picture, but we went on a hay ride at the cherry farm
My sweet babies at the cherry farm!
My smiley baby with wild hair

4th of July!
Brighton's first trip to the lake
Daddy was told that every dad needed a Hawaiian shirt. So he went out and bought one
I love Okoboji and so glad I remembered to take one picture of you all
