Some other new things this month:
-You stood up for yourself for a couple seconds! It was so exciting for me :)
-You love seeing other babies. But you are going to get your fingers bit one day because you always stick your fingers in other babies’ mouths
-You love to run, not just walk, around the house while someone holds your hands
-You can eat a banana in record time. You just love food in general and like to harbor food in those little cheeks of yours like a chipmunk. You make Daddy and Aunt Brittany nervous with how much food you stuff in your face.
-You absolutely love chicken. Daddy says its because your black haha But you will sit and eat chicken and black beans for an hour and nothing else. Though you really like watermelon now also.
-You have started to like Aunt Brittany’s husky, Moby, now. You have always been afraid of him but this past week you have gone up to him and have even started to pet his paws when he is laying down. Now though, you laugh everytime he licks you. And of course you always open your mouth for big doggie kisses....yuck!
-Your word for the dogs is “BA!” and you scream it repeatedly every time you see the dogs. Really, it’s one of your favorite syllables so you say it for other things too but we know when you are talking about the dogs
-You are EVERYWHERE! :)
-You crawl like a real baby now too! You finally started crawling on your knees instead of your belly. You still want to go faster than you are capable of going so you sometimes fall on your face.
-One night while driving home, Daddy and I were in the backseat with you while Brittany was driving. Of course you were crying because you hate your carseat most times, especially at night. So I was singing Itsy Bitsy Spider over and over and over and over again. Then Daddy decided to add his own little flare to my song and you thought it was hilarious. And for the rest of the car ride you would cry unless Daddy did his part too. I think he was going to cry if he had to sing one more round of Itsy Bitsy Spider :)
I bought an awesome firetruck pedal car at a thrift store the other day and I cannot wait for you to be able to use it! But for now though, you can bet there will be many pictures taken....just wait until next month's post I'm sure :)
I love you sweet boy, and I cannot believe you will be a toddler soon! I love watching you learn and discover. You are absolutely amazing and it never gets old.

I attempted to put your hair in a mohawk. It didn't really work. You're hair is too wild and curly and it mostly looks like you have a bun on top of your head....plus it only stayed slicked back for a few minutes. Sorry....I think you got that from me
